uranium expansion plant

Samuel Services
Samuel EPC delivered comprehensive support across the full lifecycle of this project, beginning with full EPC execution that included engineering, procurement, fabrication, and construction support through mechanical completion. Our team provided specialized instrumentation and controls programming for all Phase II systems, ensuring seamless integration and reliable performance. We also managed all procurement activities, including bid package development, bid negotiation, vendor document control, expediting, logistics coordination, and preparation of O&M manuals.
Our construction coordination services covered skid installation, tank setting, pipe fabrication and installation, insulation, and the integration of new Phase II systems with existing Phase I infrastructure. Throughout the project, we maintained thorough and organized documentation by developing specifications, managing material takeoffs (MTOs), and overseeing RFI management through Procore to support transparency and efficient project delivery.
Project Description
Samuel executed the engineering, procurement, fabrication, and construction services for Strata Energy’s Ross Uranium Plant Phase II Expansion, part of the Central Processing Plant (CPP). The project expanded the existing In‑Situ Recovery (ISR) processing facility by adding a new pre‑engineered metal building, upgraded process systems, new resin IX columns, reagent handling systems, FRP tanks, cooling towers, deep-disposal injection piping, and extensive new process and utility piping. Samuel delivered full multidisciplinary engineering, while also managing procurement, vendor coordination, logistics, and construction support through mechanical completion. The expansion integrated new systems with existing Phase I infrastructure, providing Strata with a fully operational, optimized, and constructible Phase II facility that minimizes site impacts and maintains operational continuity.
