Compressor Station Project

Samuel Services
Samuel EPC provided comprehensive fabrication, coating, testing, and installation services for piping, tubing, structural steel, platforms, supports, foundations, and equipment skids, all executed in accordance with company drawings. The team installed major equipment including six 5,500 HP and two 1,500 HP electric-driven compressors, along with slug catchers, scrubbers, separators, TEG systems, flare systems, vapor recovery units (VRUs), condensate units, and all actuated valves identified in the project’s P&IDs—both standalone and skid-mounted.
Custom spool fabrication and installation were also completed, notably connecting four existing low-pressure gas pig launchers to the LP gas inlet header with approximately 40 feet of piping per line. Electrical and instrumentation (E&I) work was performed in full alignment with the project’s scope document and drawing package. Following mechanical completion, Samuel EPC supported commissioning efforts with dedicated mechanical and E&I crews under a time-and-materials (T&M) contract.
Project Description
The Compressor Station project involved the construction of two gas compression trains (each with three compressors) on a prepared 1200 x 1200 pad. Samuel EPC was responsible for complete fabrication, assembly, and installation of all mechanical and E&I systems, including the handling of major equipment and spools per company-provided drawings and specifications.
